Full disclosure
I strive to be as objective as possible, although in my book, that doesn’t mean I can’t call a cat, “a cat,” as we say in France. Just because some truths are hurtful doesn’t make them mere opinions.
In any case, in the spirit of full disclosure, here are my loyalties and affiliations. I have worked at The Maneater (University of Missouri), The Columbia Missourian and The Santa Cruz (California) Sentinel and currently am at the Cambodia Daily (Phnom Penh). None of the opinions expressed within reflect those of my current or former employers.
I am an alumna of the Lycée Carnot (Dijon, France), the University of Missouri and the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program. I am a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and Kappa Tau Alpha honor society. I’ll do my best to reveal my biases where they might influence my writing.
